Description
Digital Pressure Gauge
The Digital Pressure Gauge is a precision pressure measuring instrument designed for accurate, reliable, and easy-to-read measurement of pressure in industrial and process applications. It uses an electronic pressure sensor to detect process pressure and converts the measured value into a digital reading displayed on a clear LCD or LED screen.
Compared with conventional mechanical pressure gauges, the Digital Pressure Gauge provides easy-to-read numerical measurement, high resolution, and convenient monitoring of pressure values. Depending on the model, it can support different pressure ranges, engineering units, display functions, alarms, and output options.
Its compact and rugged construction makes it suitable for use in pipelines, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, tanks, process equipment, and industrial machinery.

Working Principle
The Digital Pressure Gauge uses an electronic pressure sensing element to measure the pressure applied to the process connection.
When pressure enters the sensing port, it acts on the internal sensor. The sensor converts the mechanical pressure into an electrical signal. Internal electronic circuitry processes this signal, compensates for measurement conditions, and converts it into a pressure value.
The measured pressure is then displayed digitally on the screen in the selected engineering unit, such as bar, psi, kPa, MPa, or kg/cm².
Depending on the model, the gauge may also provide alarm contacts, analog output, or digital communication for integration with control and monitoring systems.

Advantages
The Digital Pressure Gauge provides a clear numerical pressure reading, eliminating the need to interpret a traditional analog pointer. Its electronic sensing technology offers reliable measurement and can provide additional functions such as peak pressure monitoring, zero adjustment, unit selection, and programmable alarms, depending on the model.
The instrument can be configured for different pressure ranges and process connections, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Stainless-steel construction options provide additional durability for demanding process environments.
For systems requiring automated monitoring, selected models can provide 4–20 mA or digital output, allowing the gauge to be connected to PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other industrial control systems.
Installation & Operation
The Digital Pressure Gauge should be installed using a suitable process connection and pressure range for the application. The selected pressure range should be appropriate for the normal operating pressure and expected pressure fluctuations.
For applications involving vibration, pulsation, or sudden pressure changes, suitable accessories such as snubbers, dampers, or isolation valves may be used to protect the sensing element and improve measurement stability.
Before installation, ensure that the process connection, pressure rating, temperature rating, and wetted materials are compatible with the process medium.
