Working Principle
The Oval Wheel Flow Meter works on the positive displacement principle. Inside the meter body, two oval-shaped rotors rotate as the liquid flows through the measuring chamber.
Each complete rotation of the rotors displaces a predetermined volume of liquid. The rotation is detected mechanically or electronically and converted into a flow measurement. The number of rotor rotations is proportional to the total volume of liquid passing through the meter.
